The 20 disaster recovery companies are correlated with 20 property/casualty - reinsurance firms.

The p7mX-CAT Index sector is calculated using the equal weight method, with the daily quote price is derived using the arithmetic mean. The p7mX-CAT Index chart represents the daily closing price, while s tock splits are split adjusted prior to the daily posting. The "Equity - Index Combined Data" is updated quarterly.

Before the markets open on Monday January 7, 2008, HSOA will be removed from the p7mX-CAT Index and replaced with 80.62 shares of NYSE: FIX @ 11.44 per share = 922.30. This change is the result of the HSOA delisting from the NASDAQ. HSOA has also been removed from the p1mX-CAT Index and the p3mX-CAT Index.
