Acergy S.A. is organized under the laws of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. It was incorporated in Luxembourg in 1993 as the holding company for all of its activities, and has operated in more than 73 countries.

 Acergy is an offshore services contractor in the world in terms of revenue. The Company designs, procures, builds, installs and services a range of offshore surface and subsurface infrastructure for the global oil and gas industry. The Company also installs pipelines used to transport oil and gas underwater as well as to the production and processing facilities at the surface.

During the time that a field is producing oil or gas, the Company inspects, maintains and repairs the equipment. Once the field has been depleted and is to be abandoned, it provides field decommissioning services which include the removal of offshore structures and equipment.
